Friluftsrådenes Landsforbund (FL), The Association of Intermunicipal Outdoor Recreation Boards, is a national organization with 20 intermunicipal organizations (friluftsråd) as members. The 20 friluftsråd have 184 municipalities as members. The organization's supreme body is the General Assembly, and they have a Board with 5 members. The organization's objective is to function as an advisor for their member organizations (friluftsråd), - work for economy, knowledge about outdoor recreation and cooperate with other organizations and governmental authorities. Their main subjects are: save valuable nature for outdoor recreation, arrange outdoor areas, outdoor learning (education in nature), outdoor activities, information and promotion of outdoor recreation.
